allez/a.le/what climbers shout to cheer each other on
allez deploys a Microsoft Fabric solution that spans several workspaces in one order, through dev, test and prod, with hooks at every stop and transient, branch-linked workspaces for every feature branch. fabric-cicd still does the publishing.
What it adds
Your config.yml and parameter.yml stay as they are. Add what you need, one feature at a time.
allez deploy runs fab deploy once per workspace, in the order the root allez.yml declares.
Run a notebook, refresh a model, call an endpoint or publish a schema, before or after each publish.
Hooks →A $allez.* token names a workspace by its folder, in every environment and on every branch.
One workspace per folder for each feature branch: created, filled and connected to git, deleted when the branch is gone.
Branch workspaces →Offline, before any deploy: every environment-specific id has a rule, with a value for every environment.
allez audit →The audit's findings as Problems with quick fixes, and the deployment drawn per environment.
vscode-allez →The verbs
Plus allez document, which prints the same facts as JSON for tools.
A branch, start to finish
One workspace per sub-folder. dev, test and prod are untouched until the merge.
