run_item

Run any item fab job run can run, such as a Spark job definition, and wait for it to finish. A failed run fails the deploy.

Keys

Key Required Description
item yes <Name>.<Type>. Unlike the other run hooks, the type cannot be omitted.
timeout_seconds no Seconds to wait before failing. Default: fab's.
parameters no A mapping passed to the run, as for run_notebook.

Behaviour

Not every item type runs through fab job run: a semantic model has its own hook, refresh_semanticmodel. For a job type fab job run does not support, call the jobs API with fab_api.
